Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website, and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes take effect immediately therefore it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions each time you use this website.

Order Procedure

We accept payment via Visa (inc. Electron) & MasterCard credit / debit cards via this website. We regret we are not able to accept American Express, Switch or Solo debit cards. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please contact us via email to info@boxsite.co.uk or by telephoning 01379 647400 for a full order quotation including delivery and VAT.

On placing your order you will receive an automatically generated email to inform you we have received your order. This is not an order acknowledgement, nor does it constitute acceptance of your order. Once your order has been accepted and delivery time is known, we will email you an order acknowledgement detailing expected despatch date. Our offices are open from Monday-Friday 8.30am until 5pm.

We endeavour to process all orders within 3 working days, at peak times this may be longer. Generally, orders are despatched within one week of receipt. If for any reason we cannot complete your order, you will be contacted immediately and your payment refunded. You can read more on ordering procedure here.


Box tolerances - Our boxes are precision cut and creased to the dimensions requested, however it is likely due to the nature of the material that there will be +/- 1-5mm difference in the finished box. When specifying a box using external dimensions a tolerance of 5mm is expected. 

Delivery Policy

Free delivery within the UK Mainland excludes some postcode areas, you can read more on this page. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 9am and 5pm. Regrettably we are not able to offer a Saturday delivery service. Orders will be sent in one dispatch. Any special delivery requirements that incur additional costs are not covered by the free shipping policy and we will make contact to request additional payment.

Returns Policy

In the unfortunate event of there being an issue with your order, please contact us on 01379 647400 or email info@boxsite.co.uk prior to returning any goods, we cannot accept returns without prior authorisation.

As our boxes are bespoke items made to your measurements they are non-returnable and non-refundable. This is in line with 'The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000; Clause 13 Exceptions to the right to cancel - (c) for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;'

Claims for Damage / Loss

In the unlikely event that your order has been damaged in transit, incorrect or missing items you must notify Boxsite.co.uk, in writing, within 3 days of receipt of the delivery. In line with our sustainability policy, when dealing with damage caused in transit it is our aim that any usable material should be salvaged either by the customer or ourselves and that the customer disposes of the damaged goods themselves, the paper/board is openly recyclable.

Suitability for Use

Every care is taken to maintain the highest standards of quality. Boxsite.co.uk wish to make it clearly understood that it is the users' responsibility to ensure that the goods purchased are suitable for the intended purpose. No guarantee is given or implied that any product we supply is fit for any particular purpose, and our liability is strictly limited to the invoice value of the items concerned.


'Per unit' box prices are rounded to the nearest 1 penny as a proportion of the total box order value and are provided for reference only. Your order is priced as a project factoring in a number of variables, not based upon 'per box' price. When dividing your total cost by the number of boxes you will find that your unit costs can run into fractions of a penny, we round these to the nearest penny for your ease of reference on the site.

Prices are subject to revision without notice. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, if this affects an order you have already placed, you will be given the option to cancel. All price changes will be published on this website. VAT is chargeable at 20% on all orders. VAT will be calculated automatically and shown on the "checkout" page. A VAT receipt will also be sent via email.

Overseas Orders

We export orders to countries all over the world, however currently we are only able to accept online orders from UK. You can read more on ordering procedure here.

The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
