How strong are boxsite boxes?
When you are storing items it's important that you know the box you use is strong enough. What better way to test them than to scientifically stress test them with size 10 clodhoppers and a weight load of 85kg! Just to be clear, these boxes are completely empty, this is purely the strength of the design/board.
Stacking strength can vary upon the actual dimensions of the box, but as you can see if weight is transferred through box walls then our boxes are really strong.
What's the strongest box? The strongest design we make is the two-piece box with full-depth lid. In this design you have 3 walls of board on each side.
To increase the rigidity of a base you can insert a cut sheet of board. You can make cut sheets here.
